I’m usually pretty prepared when I go play golf.
Phone charged. Rangefinder charged. Everything ready to go before I leave the house.
So when first using the MR2 Bag, I honestly thought that I would never use the solar phone charger.
But after almost a year, the charger has gotten some serious use.
The funny thing is, it’s usually not me.
It’s my playing partners.
Someone’s phone dies on the 13th hole. Someone’s using GPS all round and suddenly realizes they’re at 5% battery. Someone wants to film their swing but their phone is hanging on by a thread.
It has become the most appreciated thing on the bag.
And that’s what I’ve come to like about it.
It’s a small layer of backup when the round throws something unexpected at you.
Which happens more often than we think.
