Hey MNML fam, Campbell (operations) here,
I’ve hated zippers since I was a kid.
I’ve been playing golf since I was 3.
Taking lessons since I was 6.
I’m close to scratch now, and at this point, I’m picky about everything in my setup.
But honestly… most of my frustration with zippers didn’t even start in golf.
It started in school.
Every single year growing up, I’d need a new backpack.
Not because I outgrew it.
Not because I wanted a new one.
Because the zipper broke.
Teeth split.
Track jammed.
Pull tab snapped.
Track jammed.
Pull tab snapped.
Same story. Every year.
Zippers have always been the failure point.
When I golf now, I'm so glad that I don't have deal with the friction of zippers and the fear of them failing.
100% pockets mean one-handed access, no snagging, and no broken zippers over time.
Magnets = flow.
I grab my rangefinder.
I grab my glove.
I drop my phone in.
The pocket closes itself.
It’s one of those things I didn't realize I needed... until I used it.
And now every other bag feels outdated.
I believe this isn’t a feature. It’s a standard upgrade.
One thing most golfers don’t think about:
Zippers are the most common failure point on a golf bag.
I don't use magnets to "look cool".
I choose magnets because they last longer, open faster, and close more securely, even in wet conditions.
When you golf as much as I do, you notice details like this.
