My Favorite Golf Bag

My first good golf bag was a ping hoofer. It was a Christmas gift from my mom and it was perfect.

It had exactly the right amount of storage, it was light, and it looked cool.

That was over 30 years ago. I wish I still had that bag, for nostalgic purposes if nothing else.

But that was before magnetic pockets, full length dividers, and everything else that makes our bags as good as they are.

Since starting MNML GOLF, I’ve often felt like I was making bags for people other than myself.

This new bag, the MR Mini, is the first bag I’ve had since I was 14 that really fit ME.

Why does it fit me? Good question.

I walk 9, I play par threes, I ride 18 in charity events, I pretty much play every type of golf there is. I wear sunglasses while walking or riding in the cart but not when hitting a shot. I film every par three in hopes of capturing my 12th hole in one on camera. I go backpack when walking 18 and go single strap at par threes and 9 hole rounds.

And, personally, I don’t want to change bags for each occasion.

specifically designed to strap into a cart (even though it’s a mini)
looks amazingly clean
has a removable clutch for all my essentials

will last me the rest of my life.

I didn’t know the MR Mini was going to be the bag I’d use for the rest of my life when I was designing it. It took me walking 9 holes to really get the experience of using it on the course.

I wish I could put demo MR Mini bags in golf shops around the world so everyone could try them. I don’t know if it is the perfect bag for you. But if you’re like me, I know you’ll love it.
