MNML GOLF Won’t Be Your First Golf Bag

MNML GOLF Won’t Be Your First Golf Bag

MNML GOLF likely won’t be your first golf bag, but it will be your last

It will take between 90 and 900 holes to experience the first failure on your golf bag.

How many holes did I play???

From 1999 to 2015 I played about 90 holes a week.

(90 holes x 52 weeks a year)15 years = 70,200 holes

I remember my first real bag, a ping hoofer (see pic below).

And yes, the spine was broken on mine after about one year of playing.

I remember my second bag. Also a Ping Hoofer.

I loved that bag and it lasted me another full year before the main zipper on the big ball pocket got stuck (19 year old me was less patient than 46 year old me and ripped it off).

After that it’s a stream of failed bag after failed bag.

From stand mechanisms to legs, to zippers, to spines.. Every bag broke. And most within about six months.

But granted, I was playing a lot. I was ranging even more. I was mostly walking.

All of this to say, it took me playing a ton of holes (and a lot of bags failing) to have the education to design a longer lasting bag.

And until you’ve had a failure (or possibly it will take two or three) you won’t fully appreciate some of the things that go into the MNML GOLF bags.

And that’s ok.

We don’t need to be your first bag. We can wait until you’re ready for a bag that will last.

What I do know, is that once you’ve gotten fed up with broken zippers, you’ll never go back. And that’s why we’ll never put a zippered pocket on our bags.

So, when you’re ready, we’ll be here. And we’ll be better than ever.

Never going back to zips,

- 70,000 hole Sam
